    I have this one and can thoroughly recommend it. (basically the same as the patagonia pack a few posts above, but not $80. I paid $20 for mine). it does not have a waist strap, but honestly, at this size it doesn't need one. It does benefit from adding a chest strap but you can generally find those for a couple of bucks at you local outdoors store (I got one from MEC up here for $2.50).

    It's good for me because it's
    - very light (because I am weak).
    - right sized for a daypack, not to big and floppy without a bunch of stuff in it.
    - two mesh pockets, a lid with pocket, and a big empty whole into which I can put all sorts of whatever I need.
    - Nothing else.

    it was a popular bag, so I suspect they'll be in stock again soon.
