    JSK, most of it is UI, wireframes, usability. They're good for mocking up a visual wireframe of the site. We'd have UX hash that out, make a rough wireframe, then build out site strictly for user testing. After a week of that, we'd get the results, they'd change their wireframe, and designers would change their comps. I think the big pay-off for UX is usability testing. Most companies though don't have the cash, or more importantly, the time for it.

    It probably more useful for sites like Amazon, Target etc.., or anything that has a long shelf life. Companies that use it for microsites are wasting everyone's time, and basically bilking the client.
