  it might help to post what the original cd art looks like. i'm gathering that from the render, those splotches of grey are supposed to be solid white?

  start by putting your refraction down to 1. plastic jewel cases don't refract light in the same way a glass vase does.

  do you have a global ambient occlusion setting on or global illumination?

  • Hi M_C_P Thanks for the advice.. I've knocked down the refraction but it still was messing up although I've just rendered each element separately to see what the problem was and it was fine. Now when I render it complete it works! Weird!benvoid
