HOW GAY.
So my iphone charger cable is ripping (where the cable connects into the USB bit), surprising as i dont move it very much, but ive had it less than 1 year, so i thought ill just take in to an apple store and get it replaced.
"NO NO NO" - HOMO!
so i talk to a 'genius' (so genius he works in an apple store), and explain. Im very polite, i always am, i hate rude customers and poor customer service (used to work in a shop).
He says thats classed as user war and tear. Ive had chargers (that act as a usb cable too) that ive used for 7 years that still work. My gf points out that every apple charger she has ever owned (she loves ipods and has had a few) has broken.
So i say, you're not going to replace a charger for a phone that i paid £500 for within a year of purchasing? a charger that will cost you about £1 to you? He says "sorry i spoke to another genius and he says we cant".
FUCKING MORONS (or at least those 1 or two guys).
You think for the sake of £1/2 you would replace my charger and keep a customer happy. i was dumbfounded, seems like a very bad idea to me. I thought they had good customer service.
Angry email time!! :D
