one of two things happened:
your boss was looking to replace you and posted your job (which you found) OR your boss was looking to expand the team and posted your job in order to find your counterpart to work WITH you.
if he was looking to replace you you have the upper hand and say you replied to let him know, you know, so lets talk.
if he was looking to add to the team (while keeping you) you have some esplaining to do lucy.
