Try this:
Select (CTRL-A or equivalent) a page of HTML and hit copy. Go to Gmail or almost any email app for that matter and paste in what you copied. Now hit send. Voila, HTML e-mail.- That's really all there is to it. Just make sure your images are stored on a server somewhere.********
