this one's a little tricky... a few things that stuck out to me though:
kern the c and r just a bit... and the a and f just a bit... leave f and t (don't want it to ligature)... make the space between the t and the y the same as is between the f and t.... "pixels" is pretty loose to me... definitely play with the spacing between the p and i and the e and l...
- if you leave the huge gap between f and t, and tighten the others, it will feel weirdmonospaced
- yeah, i think you're right... but because the right arm of the f and the left of the t are diff. sizes, a lig. will look weird too, no?showpony
- obviously, he could just redraw the arms to make a seamless ligature...showpony
