  interesting, when I tried to use FCP I get so frustrated because I don't know how to do what I can do in AE (simple things like specifying a custom canvas size for example).

  So I usually edit in AE when and if I do edit video, but the fact that you always have to render before previewing makes me not want to edit video at all
