85k in NYC is crap. Years of experience simply don't matter. it's all about the work. 7 years xp should get you at least 100k in NYC. If you're an AD and at a real agency, at least 110k. At least.
- Cost of living in NY is way above LA. Nearly 100% spike. But you won't need a car. Still need more for NY I agree.nthkl
