I don't know why I feel like I need to defend myself, but here it goes.
Because I don't have the desire to learn every new technology or programming language as soon as it's released doesn't make me under-qualified for my position.
I'm a print designer with a great working knowledge of flash animation, and a modest understanding of AS2 (self taught). My work looks good and it meets the needs of my clients. They're happy and I'm getting paid. Does it need to be any more complicated than that?
