I wouldn't call that first book you posted from A List Apart "a good book for beginners." I have it and I'm currently reading through it bit by bit and it's much more of a primer on HTML5 for those who have a very solid understanding of HTML to being with, and even some knowledge of javascript.
I don't have any good HTML book recommendations, but just wanted to give you a heads up on the book you posted.
- would you recommend it to someone who knows AS3 but limited html/css/javascript?Aa77
