Not to piss all over other peoples' enjoyment of this artist (if other people like it then I could care less).
But having finally listened to some of his tunes Deadmau5 is a pretty direct ripoff of other electronic artists isn't he? A lil bit of trance circa late 90s, a lil bit of Justice from 5 years ago.

Basically Mr. Deadmau is a reminder that gimmicks work. Mediocre trance producer that sounds like everyone else? FAIL. Mediocre trance producer that sounds like everyone else but who wears a giant mouse head? Totally awesome dood!:)
