I've got a few over the years around London - most of them comedians due to working a couple of doors away from the biggest comedy agent in the country. But my favourites were all about the context:
Eddie Izzard in a tailors being measured and shown mad looking material samples (it was a hot day and the door was open and you could see him from the street)
Steve Buscemi (spell?) flicking through the A-Z section of Rock & Pop in HMV
Vic Reeves buying a pair of awesomely pointy shoes in a shoe shop on Poland Street.
As I say, I used to see comedians a lot and it was always pretty cool (but not funny) seeing them in the groups they were/are associated: Noel Fielding + Julian Barret, Ricky Gervais + Stephen Merchant and my personal favourite, all 4 of The League of Gentlemen including Jeremy Dyson.
