  A projector with a native resolution of 800x600 will upscale your 720x576 image to fit.
  DVD is Standard Definition it will have a maximum of about 576 lines.
  The video on the DVD can be whatever aspect ratio you want it to be, but if its not 720x576 it will either be squashed or letterboxed or pillarboxed by the projector.
