Yeah, thanks for telling the whole story e-pill.

    Something similar happened to me.
I think somebody should start a website to put all this companies on public shame...
what I find most surprising is that they think it is OK.

But be aware that this is something that will be happen MORE and MORE in the next couple of years...

Ultimately what they want is to build up the creative industries and leave the West out.
No offence to Chinese people in general, I know you cannot generalize when you talk about a whole nation.

But there seems to be a lot of cut-throat business people out there ready to fuck all the independent creatives in the west.

    • i have a very strong relationship w/ that company, even though the nyc office was closed.e-pill
    • i still freelance for them from time to time.e-pill
    • it wasnt shameful in my eyes.e-pill
    • come on cleaththoughts, advertising in general is about taking advantage of your own companies staff.ephix
    • i can't think of many industries where staff are expected to work after hours including weekends for free, on a regular basis.ephix

    • at this company we never had to work extra hours, or use our own time for anything..e-pill
    • they took rather great care of all our needs. something i have yet to see from any local comp.e-pill
    • finance is one of the only ones. i said not many. and really, the difference in compensation between finance and advertising staff is huge.ephix
