    Beer / alcohol always has a boatload of emerging brands on a yearly basis. Tons of microbreweries coming and going every year. Some branded well while most branded very poorly. Most of the large distributors keep their best selling brands under lock & key as far as branding goes - people tend to have strong affinities to alcoholic brands they know well.

    Can't help you much with Dog Food or Retail... I imagine Retail Clothing branding environment is very saturated. You probably wouldnt have to look hard to find new and emerging brands in that industry. PRemium Dog Food.... you may want to look into 'organic' brands. Seem to be all the rage with owners these days (fuck you organic brand i'm not paying $40 for 32oz. of dog food)
