the example about my 'family friend' is in no way 'the average parent'...
... hahaha... sorry to have made it come off like that... ... she's just an example of the abuse of the system out there that is rather rampant (she learned it from woman just like her - no husband / dead-beat dad situations)...
Most parents I know are actually quite responsible.
