Ok, what have we learned so far?

To any parent, kids are obviously more important than work. EVERYONE AGREES. No need to argue about this anymore.

Is your time spent with children more important than my free time? Only to you. It is highly commendable that you put your kids ahead of your work. But remember that we don't care about your kids like you do.

People with no kids need to find something that they feel is more important to them than any contract/client/paycheque or simply learn to say "no." Parents have learned to say "no" because they value the time with their children more than work and make no exception. We childless folks should take notes.
