do you really think they're both ugly? I love both cities for the variety of architecture, the new sitting closely with the old etc. It's one of the many things that gives both places a living and evolving atmosphere.
I love the fact that in London you can have both St Pauls and the gherkin in your field of vision at the same time. So much nicer than somewhere where they stick to certain styles and the city has become almost a museum. Paris springs to mind.
I live in London but i'd happily live in new york. It's not NY vs LDN, it's the NYLDN tag team.
- Not "ugly" in the sense of character. You must admit there are aesthetically prettier cities on the planet. Certainly not as lively. :)ethandmarquis
