    thanks acescence - looks like with this little knowledge i can get:

    1) MOSHI Mini DP to carry over the audio/video*

    2) Long ass HDMI to HDMI cable to run around the perimeter of the room, plug into TV.

    3) ditch cable TV - and watch all the available tv on the internets

    *Audio support is only available for MacBook Pro 13/15/17-in. mid-2010 release; iMac 21.5/27-in. early-2010 release
