I just got the Sigma 20mm 1.8 for video shooting. It's nice and wide for that APS-C sensor, but it's not fisheye. It's been ideal for most video, and it's nice and fast. Canon does not make a comparable lens (with that focal length and speed.) It's been criticized for it's softness wide open, but for video that doesn't matter much.
I also have the canon 50mm 1.8. It can be had for ~$80 new. Great lens at an almost disposable price. You can spend ~$350 for the 1.4 or a lot more for the 1.2, but I love the cheap one, it's tiny and super light.
