EPS or PDF?

    PDF.

    EPS files were best for outputs back in the day because they allowed for type to be processed into vectors which in turn helped them output very crisply.

    Since the advent of PDFs, print people have saved themselves hours worth of RIP time because PDFs do a really good job of compressing images while keeping typefaces as math (ie: readable/vector.)

    That and I fucking hate how long it takes for Adobe to render eps files.

    • for us it's not about the rip time as much as the lack of editing color in a pdf- we have to convert to eps anyway
