• i abhor sprawl, the suburbs, and the overuse of cars in america. traveling everywhere by bike or walking would be a dream. urban planning in the US is mostly garbage, where they create their cities for the automobile and not for the people. i hate the fact that, living in the US, we are so dependent on oil and need to pollute our air every time we need to get somewhere. it's ridiculous to me how irresponsible that is, and yet barely anybody gives it a second thought. you could say that i could move to bike-friendly Portland, but really, Portland is only 1% of what the NL is as far as bike/pedestrian accessibility.

- I live about 2 miles away from work (here in the US), yet there is no physical way for me to get there by bike. it's RIDICULOUS.********
