It sounds like a great idea to start an agency without local knowledge. Good business at it's best.Anyway, worse than the language and getting the visa is THE WEATHER! well, I'm here in London so there's little I can say.
As georgesIII said, take a little time to be there before wanting to get a job. Make sure that you know not only the language but also the culture unless your strongest skill is purely technical (Devs and such).
Just think how much the average Americans take the piss of the Latins and (skilled or not) and picture yourself that this time you will be the immigrant. yet Dutch are better mannered than the average Joe...
- You really don't need to the know the language super well, there are plenty of international minded firms here.nolovelost
- *Latins, indians, asians... well about about anything else 'not american'maikel
- In general, I don't see a reason to hire a foreigner when you can use local talent. Ironically, I'm an expat.maikel
- Except that a lot of local talent have been leaving for greener pastures, from what I've heard.Continuity
