I think that this thread degenerated to a 'standard' well below what i would deem 'professional', or 'constructive'. I applauded when 4cy threatened to close the thread. I cringed when 4cy was drawn back into the fray.
Someone posts a site and asks a simple question. Why? Because he/she respects the level of 'professionalism' of the 'newstoday public voice members' towards graphic design.
Certain comments were offered actual feedback, some ridiculous, and others non-contructive negative assaults that reflect a self-centered narcissistic asswipe.
qaddisin - it is hard to post your work and ask for feedback. Personally the site doesn't really grab me. I tend to favor sites that are not flashed out, relying on usability and a kick ass design [newstoday being a great example]. As far as what it is worth i think you should be asking what can I get for it? Then you should reflect on your streamlining your development process, Hopefully next time you can build a better product in a shorter time frame maximising your dollar. Most importantly don't let the HATERS get to you, they are not jealous just unhappy.
