well, the fact that you like to degenerate design to lower-levels you should not expect to be paid more then 3k after all.
and it did not compare, it was an example that came to mind.
putting a heart upside down in the body is wrong and would most likely be fatal, but implementing poor design and asking more then it would probably deserve is also wrong, but, i agree, probably not fatal.
but the comparison you can make is:
surgeons are experts in their field and are paid for their skills, so are designers.
And obviously, you may call yourself a webdesigner, but, apparently, you need to go a long way before you can call yourself a graphic designer.
