Moving to NY from London. Been here for the summer working and just waiting for visa to come through. Find out in a few days. Exciting times.
London is great, Loads of creative stuff going on and very accessible to that level of culture. I've lived there for seven years and am ready for a change.
As an English person, it's amazing being here in New York and experiencing a new city / country. I find that it's harder to access the level of culture I'm used to, but that's probably because I'm new here.
If you're deciding whether move somewhere based on how much a bus ride costs then you need to have a serious word with yourself.
