I'm sorry I have grown to within an inch of actually hating the internet. I don't want to be near it anymore. I feel like it's corroding me. It does shitty things to humans. It makes all discourse course.
I can't imagine a world where people can say "challenging another grown man to a fight, because i called you a PUSSY!". Really. You can't imagine that?
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a tough guy, and I'm not, but I just can't deal with this crap anymore. Carl here is an excellent example, but this whole interent shit just destroys any sense of reality.
Carl, I called you on calling me a pussy because a) while there are anonymous trolls here, I am not. You aren't. You want to be part of a community, there should be some standards. That's how humans should work. But you're sitting there at your computer in Tuckahoe calling a guy who lives less then ten miles as a crow flies a pussy.
There are plenty of places in the really real world where you say that to somebody and you are dead. Or in a hospital. Or you have to stand for it.

Maybe it seems archaic to you, or in your warm and fuzzy little suburban media bubble world you think that these ideas like respect, honor and paying attention to the words that comes out of ones mouth is of little value or importance, that it can all be glossed over, and that god forbid someone would take offense to such things and if they do they'd have "mental problems" or something.
You conservative types like to talk all about "American, manly" values and shit like you actually mean it. But you don't. It's skin deep. And that Carl is what I'm calling you on. It means nothing to you. And that is really, really fucking sad.
Patton was one of my favorite Americans. One of my favorite sayings of his was "The only thing to do when a son-of-a-bitch looks cross eyed at you is to beat the living hell out of him right then and there."
It's a saying of honor, of action. I can't think of a much better example of American honor than Patton. Something that used to matter in this country. And it's just been pissed away.

So Carl, please rest at ease that you live in a candy coated world where you'll never ever have to be responsible for the words you say. In fact, this world is so favorable to candy asses like you that even when someone calls you on it, you obviously believe you can justify it with a whole lot of mental gymnastics. Your an apologist for your own weakness and utter and total lack of honor.
Like I said, you're just another example of the lightweight, weak and meaningless society America has become and your conservatives love.
