It wasn't just drugged up kids or something, from what I understand the entrance to the event was at the end of a tunnel, at some point they decided there were too many inside and closed the entrance. But tens of thousands of people were still streaming in through the tunnel thinking it was still open. And how the hell would you know if you were in the middle of a huge crowd like that?
Gotta say though, I don't really get this whole thing of not holding it ever again. Seems kind of ridiculous to cancel the whole thing based on one single accident. Maybe they can break it up into several smaller events next time.
