    Keep in mind Pagerank isn't the be all end all of ranking in the search engine, it's really just a measure of how "popular" your site is.

    Having said that, it's likely that whatever killed your Pagerank also killed your rankings, so you should try to figure out if there was some kind of big change either in your site itself, or in the sites linking to you. If, say, a couple site with good Google rankings suddenly stopped linking to you, that would be a typical cause for a drop like that.
