get whichever you feel more comfortable with. max out the ram and you'll be set either way.
if they're all using pc, getting you a pc might be a bit easier overall from an i.t./setup perspective.
with a mac and them all being pc you're probably going to run into printer and network issues if they don't know what they're doing, but if your savvy enough you can probably set it all up yourself. if there's ever any compatibility issues you can always install and run windows on it.
either way, whatever you're more comfortable with. there is no difference.
