    man, i have it on an external firewire with approx. 75GB of music. reconfiguring the playlist and updating genius takes a long ass time. i can't imagine how long it's going to take once you point itunes to the remote location. days dude. days.

    • get a faster drive. i use a network one with about 300gig of music and tv shows. slight delays at times mind.airey
    • then something is fubar with my drive/computer. it takes hours.kona
