Establish street teams in every city they´re playing! Send out posters, flyers etc and give free merch to the kids in your street team. This is very effective, but demands a lot of time.
And yeah, make a lot of different merch. Run contests on your facebook page where contestants are inviting all their friends.
If the music is selling itself it should be easy recruiting new fans! Sounds too good to be true! :)
