Helen Thomas was tolerated at the WH press corps mostly because of her historical value. But when she switched from journalism to writing commentary, the corps was very uncomfortable with her presence in the gallery. Not to mention her anti-semitic views were widely known there for years. To say she was simply pro-palestinian is a serious understatement. BTW, for those unaware of it, her statement caught on video pre-date the recent blockade news. So she didn't lash out because of current events, she held these views for quite some time. That she spoke openly this way at an event for israel only shows how openly intolerant and bigoted she is.

    • She's gone, let it go.DrBombay
