  Speaking from the experience of having an ex in the same industry - I say it's best to keep it as professional as possible, and keep your past/personal issues aside. Otherwise it can reflect poorly on how you handle yourself in business situations...if things lead to drama, people always seem to hear it through the grapevine. So don't look into things and think that bc she hired you to do designs for her, that it means she wants anything else from you on the side - it's possible she just respects your aesthetic, work ethic, and knows you'll give her a fair rate.

  And speaking as a girl - we can be unintentionally twisted and weird sometimes... so good luck with that situation? haha
