What exactly does a President do when a disaster like an oil spill happens? I mean I am sure there are a fleet of US Army Corps of Engineers down there, but isn't it really BP's responsibility to stop it? It is their equipment. They should have the technology and engineers to stop it, or am I wrong?
- If the guys who own the rig can't stop it, what can the US Gov do about it?DrBombay
