@sherm
I know you weren't addressing me directly, but I still stand by everything I said. The fact of the matter is that if a web jockey is building a site from my design, they aren't actually copying and pasting from my files. They generate live text and layout purely through CSS code and can copy/paste images just like they do from any Adobe software.
Now, to say a print designer can't work for the web is just straight up ignorant. In my experience, long-standing web guys are stuck to principles and familiarity. It's the print designers who are actually pushing the envelope and breaking the monotonous, generic, web work that we see everyday.
I prefer InDesign because it's not just for print. It exports HTML and files for Dreamweaver. It allows for Flash animations built in and several other web-savvy tools. If one of my developers complained about working with my InDesign files, I would go about having them replaced. Just my two cents.
