  I feel you're overunderthinking this - whatever solution you come up with will need to fit into your Band's existing branding and that of the venue. Adding in extraneous, seemingly nonsensical elements will only confuse the punters.

  Assuming it's compatible, I'd stick with something like an elegant Roman text, bound by horizontal rulers, saying 'specialre-re area' or something. Research Golf, Polo and Capital events.

  If you want to go batshit ca-razy, add an image of a key in.
