- a clear goal, or at least a willingness NOT to randomly change goals.
- an understanding of the difference between matters of taste, and matters of carefully considered principles.
- an understanding that the target market is PROBABLY NOT EVERYONE, and probably not PEOPLE JUST LIKE THEM... unless, say they're deliberately marketing snowboards to retired baby boomers..
