That they understand how much time is involved in the design process. It IS our job to educate them through the process but I have worked with people who refuse to understand. Once when discussing the development of a wordmark a client started to argue with me about the amount of time involved. He started arguing with me and said "look (while typing into MSWord), I just typed the word. It took me 5 seconds." I told him he was all set, then.
