    Honestly, I'd say that designers may want to completely outsource the PSD-to-HTML process to somebody who does it all day long, for a fixed rate per page... various services have been linked to here...

    THEN you can have your PHP/ROR/ASPX/Whatever server side dudes work on it...

    we should recognize that most server-side programmers are NOT into pixel slicing, yes, they can do it sometimes, but it's NOT their strong suit, and they often resent minor tweeks, largely for culture reasons.... and because it's seen as a waste of time, because they're not as effecient at CSS as they are at server side programming....
