well... as a somewhat burned out developer I'd say....
Designers crying over pixels while you're trying to fix the database carnage is like a truck driver complaining about a paint scratch while the you're fixing the engine that suddenly won't start....
Yes, it's got to look good, but it HAS TO ACTUALLY WORK FIRST...
and some pitch-oriented account types don't care if it works, they just want it to look pixel perfect for the powerpoint,... once the client sees that they think you're "99% done" .... uh huh....
