I agree with a lot of the feedback that has been given and totally agree with you about bubbling up some buried work. Considering that your work speaks volumes about what you do, I would be very minimal in your design approach and let it do just that. I think that a simple filter/navigation system up top might do the trick w/ a clean grid based presentation of the work below.
