  My current laptop got delivered from the States as a $20 gift. The seller put it in a kitchenware box so it weighed about right and they didn't check it.

  My laptop before that got found out and I had to pay 60% customs charges at the value estimated by customs, as opposed to the low value the seller put it as. That was not a friendly 300 pound markup.
