I took my MBP in one day last year to get checked. I'd had it for a while, and it was acting up. They repaired it, but it was still acting less than optimal. I kept going with it, brought it back again, and they attempted a repair again. Everything seemed fine.
Then, three weeks after Apple Care expired, the logic board ate itself alive.
I called and expressed my disappointment (always making sure I'm being nothing but polite). Apple saw that I tried to repair the issue several times under Apple Care, and agreed to replace the logic board, case and monitor for free, and extended my Apple Care agreement for another year.
- Been with 'em since the 80s, and I'm not expecting that will change.luckyorphan
