it strikes me as a very typical flash website from about 10 years ago. Get creative, make it look like nothing people have seen before but more importantly, keep it a LOT more clean and simple.
a lot of those elements could be tiny (fb/twitter link for example) but you seem to have tried to make everything as big as possible and so my eye isn't lead anywhere.. it just goes all over the place.
the rollover factor.. ok, but i'd like to be able to click to see a bigger version or something.
..and in Print, take block party out or redesign it. I really don't like that one bit it's also just a mishmash of text.
