Your premise is flawed and unfair. This is actually quite easy for modern-day rational people of christian faith to reconcile as true. Most do not believe the bible to be historic fact, but rather a guide for living well. It's the small, yet LOUD, minority of crazies that don't get it. In fact, some of the loudest DO get it, but they make tons of money being loud, so...

To me, the real issue to question is the idea of an anthropomorphic god in the first place. I believe in energy as proof of existence; not aliens, zombies, or other man-made explanations for the great unknowable universe.

    • the problem is that you take some to be historical fact and some you ignore...it's ridiculousmonospaced
    • By 'you' I hope you don't mean me. I'm not defending the christian religion (or any religion), just think the argument flawed.duckofrubber
    • is unfair to the many non-crazies out there who actually can reconcile science with a christian concept of god.duckofrubber
