Flash isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
We are already able to get Flash banner ads on the iPhone/iPad. Greystripe (http://www.greystripe.com) does that. Maybe these new iPhone/iPad mobile browsers that are coming out with have a Flash Player emulator type thing built into the app which will allow the device to view Flash. Completely possible.
Just give it 5 or 6 months, iPad just came out. I'm sure as hell Adobe is on top of this like white on rice. I honestly don't think Adobe is behind on this. Apple just isn't letting them in the backdoor yet.
Let's be realistic. There is still a ton of things that CSS or HTML5 can't do that Flash can. There are some things that are better suited for CSS/HTML, like dynamic content and updating. Flash is better at visuals, animated shit, multimedia in general.
What I see happening is better integration of all of these technologies once this iPad hype is over with.
