    @deathboy - just fine. In Australia we pay on average 1% of our salary direct to medicare. You cannot be refused care at any public hospital and for the most part you will not be out of pocket. You can of course take out private cover and get access to private hospitals and other benefits but the care you receive is still excellent in the public system.

    Now why the fuck is this so difficult a concept to grasp? If I hear John Boehner say the US has the best healthcare system in the world one more time I'll spew. Typical insolent inward looking attitude...has probably never travelled outside the USA.
