Whaaaat... I just came home and my dad asked me to sit down– apparently my mom was looking through my room for something and noticed my pipes and herb jars (I keep it fresh!) and she threw them all out or something... he asked me to sit because he was talking about how we have to learn how to get through "major and minor setbacks" and that hopefully whatever she destroyed wasn't too expensive... LOL. He made some joke about how no wonder the cats are so lazy and spend so much time in my room these days. He's not going to take a side but I'm sure to have a chat tomorrow I suppose, but for now I'm out around $200. I'm not really upset (I guess because I'll only be dealing with this kind of stuff for 2 more months) but I should probably take a minute tomorrow morning to figure out what to say to her tomorrow. It's kind of funny because I was planning on spending some time over break to write both of my parents a letter respectfully arguing for their support in marijuana reform over the next few years since I'm certain it will become an issue for them to vote on in the relatively near future.
